The Smoky Mountains are known for their Pancakes!  Did you know?  Pancake Houses are very popular here and we can see why.  It’s a great idea to start the day with a big breakfast to support you through all of the adventure ahead!  You may be overwhelmed with choices so we have taken some of our favorites to share with you here.

The Pancake Pantry
The Pancake Pantry is located in Downtown Gatlinburg in The Village Square.  You can’t miss it when you drive through downtown Gatlinburg.  The Pancake Pantry has been a breakfast favorite in Gatlinburg for over 50 years.  Jim and June Gerding grew this restaurant from it’s humble beginnings to being the favored choice of many for the best pancake ever.  You won’t find just pancakes however!  Crepes, pancakes and other breakfast delights await you, choose from 24 feature pancake recipes.  If you are later in the day you can enjoy one of their many finely crafted sandwiches and their home fried chips.  Sandwich recipes have been crafted from experiences in world travel, there won’t be another like the one you choose at another restaurant in the area.  The Pancake Pantry is very popular, we recommend planning ahead and doing your best to avoid crowds by selecting mid week days or early or late breakfast hours.  You will not be disappointed in your experience at the Pancake Pantry, downtown Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

Frizzle Chicken Farmhouse Cafe
Looking for a family experience? We highly recommend the Frizzle Chicken Farmhouse Cafe!  You have to see it to believe it, the family will thank you.  Plan for a morning of delightful large meals and fun the kids will remember.  Do chickens sing? These do! It’s not just pancakes you will find at the Frizzle Chicken Farmhouse Cafe.  Waffles, Pancakes and French Toast are all specialties.  Delicious large portions will keep you going through an adventure filled day.  This restaurant is located on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge in the middle of all of the fun things to do that your family will enjoy.  If you have kids, enjoy this restaurant for Breakfast, Luch or Dinner.

Ask the locals about Reagan’s House of Pancakes and you will discover it is a Local’s Favorite for sure!  With two locations to serve you on the Parkway in Gatlinburg, Reagan’s offers a wonderful breakfast buffet along with a fantastic breakfast menu with all of the favorites you enjoy.  Reagan’s House if Pancakes is all about a great meal, served with a smile.  Efficient and delicious, you will find friendly servers and a family friendly atmosphere you will return to over again.
