We’ve stayed in a LOT of cabins in the Smokies over the years, and Kelly’s Escape honestly stands out as one of the best experiences we’ve had. The cabin was spotless, beautifully designed, and somehow felt luxurious and cozy at the same time. From the second we walked in, it felt more like a private boutique retreat than a typical vacation rental. Every room had thoughtful details, and you could tell a lot of care went into creating the experience. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked with high-end touches, and the living areas made it easy to relax and spend time together without ever feeling cramped. We especially loved the outdoor spaces — mornings with coffee and evenings unwinding there ended up being some of our favorite moments of the trip. What impressed us most was how intentional everything felt. Nothing about the cabin felt cheap or rushed. The décor, lighting, finishes, and overall atmosphere made it feel upscale without losing that warm mountain-cabin charm. The communication and hospitality were also top-notch from start to finish. Everything was smooth, easy, and welcoming, which made the whole trip even more relaxing.

We’ve rented cabins all over the Smokies, but the outdoor living space at Kelly’s Escape completely changed the game for us. The downstairs covered deck became our favorite part of the entire trip. It honestly felt like a luxury outdoor lounge tucked into the mountains. Between the outdoor kitchen, TV area, comfortable seating, and the hammock space, we spent more time down there than inside the cabin. At night, we’d cook dinner outside, watch TV, and just relax listening to the sounds of the mountains. During the day, the hammock area was perfect for slowing down and unwinding. It had that rare feeling where you’re comfortable enough to stay for hours without realizing it. What made it even better was how private and cozy it felt while still being incredibly high-end. So many cabins have “outdoor space,” but this was actually designed to be lived in and enjoyed. You can tell whoever built this cabin understood how people really want to relax on vacation. The whole setup gave the cabin a true luxury retreat feel instead of just being a place to sleep between activities. We’ll honestly remember that deck area as much as the cabin itself, and that’s saying something.

Great place! Celebrated our 35 year here and was blown away by this cabin and how private it is. Everything here is top notch. You just don’t get that many places. Will definitely be back..
